Happy Birthday to the Island Girl!

"Of course if you like your kids, if you love them from the moment they begin, you yourself begin all over again, in them, with them, and so there is something more to the world again."

I do, I did, there is.

Your father and I wish you all the happiness the world can give. I shall miss sharing your birthday with you. I hope you can feel my heart, my hugs and kisses.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KATE!
Psalm 127:3

Happy Birthday, Dear Kate! Your Birthday is special to me because it was the day you were born and the day I both a farm and I thought life had begun. But, I have found that life begins when you find peace and happiness and selfless love. Your Island sounds like some of that is there. Many more Birthdays, Kate and blessings on your life's journey. Love, Aunt Judy

Dear, dear, Katherine, the fourth day after you were born, 27 years ago, was the Wed. that your Mom and another young man visited a
nursing home and played guitar and
sang songs to the silent old folks.
We opened the door and they were singing one of the songs that they always sang, going down the hall Merry started singing with this beauatiful little pink bundle in her arms. When we reached the hugh
double sitting room, and as they continued singing, Merry went from
old person to old person and placed the baby in the arms of each smiling face. It was one of the happiest things I had ever seen, to see the look of wonder and love on their faces....
Doesn't take much to make us happy
and that is something that you did for many years after the nursing home. Now don't tell this to any one, because I know your "Daddy" would have rung our necks then and he just might do it still if he
reads this.
Love you lovely Island Girl. be happy and safe, and enjoy your special day.
your Grandmother

Dear sweet sister Kate, I, too, remember you being born. Even I couldn't help but fall in love with that black headed cutie!
I love you so.
With a thankful heart that you were born--I shall think of you often today.

My dear sweet Kate, I do not remember you being born. I do remember you at 3 though. Who would have thunk back then I'd be blogging to you on Little Corn Island. Crazy world. And you make it a little better by being a part of it. Hope you're well again. Stay healthy and happy. Look forward to seeing you next time you make it up to the states. Happy Birthday!
