BETHANN PASSES THE BAR!

Today Bethann got the news that she passed the California Bar Exam!

Years had passed and the California Bar is one of the most difficult bar exams to pass, this is no small feat! We are all so proud of you and I'm sure your father is beaming with three of his children now following in his footsteps...(not to discredit your mother, in anyway!)

Beth received her JD from Emory University’s School of Law in 2001. Before that, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University in 1994. Deciding late to use her degree and become a lawyer, Beth left her position as Regional Vice President with Princeton Review, worked part time for Daiogo & Pedersen, LLP (Kristin's Law firm) and study for the Bar.

Beth will be sworn in to practice law in California in the near future.

Congratulation Beth!

Well done, Beth. I am very proud of you. I heard that only 33% passed. Is that right? That makes it even more impressive. Love, Dad.

That was a long wait, Beth, to hear
the results. Congratulations Beth.
I hope you find the perfect place
to practice. During the 30 years
I practiced hehe in Criminal
Court Rutherford county, the new
young lawyers who passed the bar always told us,They were told in school ,When you begin to practice law, if you don't know
your law, know your clerks.
It was always a delite to help
these young people beginning a new
practice. Hope you will feel that is a source of help. I even sneaked
them certain documents to read
when they were about to file a
certain kind of case. Open Records
you know.

Thanks everybody! I'm just so happy to not have to study for and take the test again. Whew. Now I can just relax for a little bit.

Dad...yep, 33.5% pass rate. The second lowest pass rate in 23 years.

I truly appreciate all the support you guys gave me before the test. I think I'm done taking tests for awhile now. ;)
