Some pictures are just too good not to post. This one was taken at Morgan and Grandad's birthday dinner, Friday the 13th. Like all the girls (women) in our family, their light shines.
I want each of you to know that your sweet birthday calls were cherished and appreciated by your father. More than anything else it was just what he wanted. I wish you could have seen his face when he receive of them. It was a good day.

Last night was a great birthday dinner with my birthday mate, Morgan, now eight years old. She was in pink, with new white shoes. In the photo Mimi posted, she was wearing her father's suit coat because it was cold. We had a very nice birthday dinner. Today, I watched Joe hit a double and later get walked, steal second and third, and score on a very soft infield hit to the pitcher who tried in vain to throw Joe out at the plate, but Joe slid right between the catcher's feet to avoid the tag and score one of the five runs his team scored in all. Then I watched Ford's team snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Ford got two hits, drove in the tying run and scored the winning run in the last half of the last inning, with two out. He pitched the last three innings and struck out the side in one inning. It was a stunning come from behind victory, and Ford was the winning pitcher. I am an exhausted Grandad.
Why Morgan in pink? You are getting to be a little beauty, Morgan. Thats something special to celebrate your birthday with grandad.
You Mom looks beautiful too.
Love to both!
